this indian street chaat(snack) deliciously named panipuri (pah-knee pur-ee). a crispy, puffed shell of dough with a little potatoe and a couple of garbanzo beans lightly touched with a sweet/spicy/tangy sauce, then dipped in masala water.
there is a lady in fremont named nilam i always see working at the little food stand. smiles when she greets me “you want pani puri?” “you have indian friend?” “you know how to eat this?” almost in disbelief that i would venture into the indian market on my own. i only have pallavi to thank for introducing me. <3

a tribute to this show as it has successfully captivated me and left me begging for more. i only watch the clock as it inches closer and closer to 7 p.m. on Sunday, 8/16.
